Easter Dresses from the Past

I have been sewing the girls' Easter dresses every year since Megan was a tiny baby. I thought it would be fun to post pictures of my past creations on the blog to get me in the Easter dress mode. I almost decided to not make them this year, but tradition has won out. I realize that it won't be much longer before my girls will not want to wear homemade OR matching dresses. So, be on the lookout for the new dresses this Easter Sunday.

Nonnie's Visit Was a Hit!

Do you think we could maybe squeeze a few more grandkids into this picture?  We had a fabulous time with Carla over a long weekend here in Utah.  She came out to visit these growing hoodlums (and maybe their parents, too).  We went to Ashlyn's first dance competition on Saturday and shopped and ate out way too many times.  It was great.  The kids, especially Megan, threatened to wring the life and energy right out of her.  I am sure she'll need a vacation from her vacation.  These kids would literally fight each other for her attention.I snapped these pictures because all 7 of the kids were trying to play the game Let's Go Fishin" with Carla, and if it looks crazy and crowded and loud, then that's because it was!!

Adam and cousin James

A couple weekends ago we went up to Rexburg for Baby James' blessing day.  We had a great time seeing family that we don't live close enough to see often.  Thanks for having us up, Brad and Amy.  This picture is actually from about a month ago when Brad and Amy and James came to Utah and stopped over at our house for a night.  I took this pic of Adam and James just as they were leaving.  Isn't it crazy how fast babies grow and change?  Adam and James almost exactly 11 months apart in age.  Adam looks so big next to tiny James.
